Contract Analyst

Responsibilities for this position include routine/highly repetitive contracting actions, such as:

  • Preparing contractual documents, drafts of negotiation memorandums, and quote evaluations
  • Setting contract goals
  • Reviewing proposals
  • Handling compliance bids with FAR, DFAR and GSA
  • Conducting some market research, reviewing documentation for compliance and performing cost/price evaluations
  • Identifying and mitigating risks including assessing cost, schedule and performance impacts
  • Analyzing and providing advice regarding commercial and government proposal solicitations and our company's response

Preferred Skills Include: 

  • Effective time-management skills, including the ability to work through multiple tasks simultaneously and with minimal supervision
  • The desire and ability to learn and utilize innovative business practices to streamline the contracting processes and maximize resources
  • 2+ years of experience in contract administration or as a paralegal focused on contractual matters
  • Advanced-level use of Excel and Word
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Strong communication & organizational skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in dealing with change, handling multiple demands and competing priorities

Additional Skills a Plus:

  • Experience with Epicor Prophet 21, Quality Collaboration By Design (QCBD), and Wrike
  • Associate's degree in paralegal studies
  • Experience working with government contractor
