The Kipper Multi-Saw and Drill Tool Set provides specific tools, common to the complete carpenter shop set, to supplement additional carpentry teams in modular fashion. Carpenter teams can be deployed with this tool set without impacting the capabilities of the parent unit and accomplish construction tasks that involve sawing and drilling with greater levels of accuracy and higher production rates. This Tool Set could be used to establish a fabrication shop to assemble framing, flooring and roofing trusses.

Soldiers will use tools that feel comfortable, save them time and are safe to use. The Tool Set includes a wide selection of COTS industrial grade, corded electric saws and drills to significantly increase productivity, enhance carpentry capabilities, reduce manpower, and expand the scope of projects undertaken. The presence of the Tool Set is necessary during civil affair missions and disaster relief actions as well as impacting all construction related requirements or tasks including force and infrastructure protection, infrastructure repair and restoration, gap crossing, and construct and repair air-ground LOCs.

The Tool Set includes a 12" double-bevel compound miter saw 14" chop saw 10" circular saw two 7-1/4" framing saws reciprocating saw 1/2" variable speed reversing drill 1/2" right angle drill 1-1/8" SDS hammer drill hammer bits, chisel points, spade bits and extensions for the SDS metal and wood adjustable clamps, a wide assortment of blades to fit all the saws for masonry, wood and metal cutting cut-off wheels drill bits for wood and metal countersinks and dust masks, safety goggles and extension cords.

The Tool Set is packaged in a rugged transport case specifically designed to fit between the wheel wells of the standard 1-1/2 ton trailer or HMMWV. Custom cut foam safeguards the tools within tailored storage locations and pick holes where necessary. The Tool Set is packaged for instant inventory with a diagram permanently affixed inside the case, showing the location and data for each component.

The Kipper Multi-Saw and Drill Tool Set contains Military Type Classified Standard and UL tested items, it standardizes equipment and provides ILS supportability, it supports instant inventory and contains a permanently affixed diagram showing the location of each component in its loaded position and includes identification data.

A Replenishment Kit is available for the Multi-saw and Drill Tool Set as a separate item. The Kit includes all the expendable items, drill bits and saw blades.
