The Kipper Pneumatic Nailer & Compressor Tool Set provides specific tools, common to the complete carpenter shop set, to supplement additional carpentry teams in modular fashion. Carpenter teams can be deployed with this tool set without impacting the capabilities of the parent unit and accomplish construction tasks that involve nailing and stapling with greater levels of efficiency and higher production rates. This Tool Set could be used to establish roofing teams, siding teams and truss fabrication teams.

Soldiers will use tools that feel comfortable, save them time and are safe to use. The Tool Set includes COTS industrial grade, pneumatic nail guns to significantly increase productivity, enhance carpentry capabilities, reduce manpower, and expand the scope of projects undertaken. The use of the Tool Set is necessary during civil affair missions and disaster relief actions to create immediate temporary housing - roofing and siding - and provide relief from the elements. Nailers impact all construction related tasks; involved in creating and repairing force and infrastructure protection structures, gap crossing structures, and lines-of-communication facilities.

The Tool Set includes two framing nailers with 150 feet of air hose, line moisturizer, and the necessary fittings; an air blow gun; a rebuild kit; and electric air compressor; prybars, safety goggles and extension cord; and an assortment of nails. The air compressor is usable in numerous other circumstances: operating other pneumatic tools for maintenance and construction purposes, providing compressed air for recovery jacks, and medical facilities.

The Tool Set is packaged in a rugged transport case specifically designed to fit between the wheel wells of the standard 1-1/2 ton trailer or HMMWV. Custom cut foam safeguards the tools within tailored storage locations and pick holes where necessary. The Tool Set is packaged for instant inventory with a diagram permanently affixed inside the case, showing the location and data for each component. None of the components have special handling or transportation restrictions.

The Kipper Pneumatic Nailer & Compressor Tool Set contains Military Type Classified Standard and UL tested items, it standardizes equipment and provides ILS supportability, it supports instant inventory and contains a permanently affixed diagram showing the location of each component in its loaded position and includes identification data.

A Replenishment Kit is available for the Pneumatic Nailer & Compressor Tool Set as a separate item. The Kit contains additional nails matched to the nail gun manufacturer's model.
